I offer two services: Photo-retouching, and oil painted portraits. Both services use your photos, or if you are a resident of Ottawa, I could arrange to take photos for you.
My photo retouching is meant to bring out the best of your cherished photos. I can remove unwanted date stamps, skin blemishes, red-eye, stray hairs and so-forth. If you are interested in this service please feel free to contact me with an image or set of images in mind and I'm sure we'll work out something fabulous and cost-effective.
Please note that this photo services is entirely digital, meaning I require a digital copy of the photos (If you are a resident of Ottawa I can scan the originals and return them to you). After the photos have been retouched, and I have received payment, I will e-mail back the new and improved photos. Should there be any concerns with the final product I'd be willing to discuss further touch-ups.
Similarly, my painted portraits are from photos. My medium is oil paint so depending on the size and my schedule there may be a one to two month turn around. Please consider that the paint needs time to dry. If the work is complex or large, I would send a photo of the work in progress, to keep you updated and receive some feedback.
Please note that my paintings are on canvas. For large works I do not provide frames, though I will paint the edges white, or a colour of your choosing. If you would like a smaller piece framed I will use my aesthetic knowledge to choose a frame that would complement the piece, though this would be reflected in the price.
